Rockin' Out!

It's just a fact that toddlers love to play in sand, dirt and rocks. This evening while hanging in the cool temperatures of our back yard, I saw that Clark was playing with some gravel that fills the space between pavers around our porch. I then saw Emma and Kendall take an interest in the fun he was having so I decided that they needed more rocks to play with. Luckily I have a couple of bags of pea gravel from the old Home Depot in the workshop. I grabbed a bag and poured it out onto the area where they were playing. The eyes of my children lit up with gratitude and also awe as they couldn't believe that I would just have a bag of pea gravel laying around so they could increase their fun factor by 10. I was.........a magician! If you see me holding my arm tomorrow it's just from patting myself on the back. Good night and kids, keep on rockin'.---posted by Daddy
