We've had a busy day so far taking Emma for a quick trip to the doctor for what we now know is just a sty (spelling?). Then we headed to Brusters (again) for ice cream because the kids were all being so good. After eating the yummy ice cream (this time there were colored sprinkles and google eyes on their ice cream!), we checked out a "new" park (new to us) and met some new "friends." It was so cute that Emma was saying "Hi new friends!" as we approached the playground. They all were very brave and went down a super long tunnel slide and climbed the stairs and ladders on their own
.
Our plans for this evening are to have a family movie night with "Toy Story" and a big bowl of popcorn. This is our first attempt to get them to sit through a full-length movie. I don't want to have unreasonable expectations, but I'm hoping that they at least enjoy the experience of being together as a family even if we don't make it all the way through the movie.
