When I Grow Up
(somewhat adapted from one of their books)
When I grow up, I want to be
happy and funny,
just like K&E.
I want to swing "upside down"
And play in the leaves,
All crunchy and brown.
When I grow up, I want to love
to swing "high in the sky"
like the butterflies above.
I want to throw dirt up in the air
just like Clark
without a care.
When I grow up, I want to be fun
and play outdoors
in the shining sun.
I want to be the best that I can be
for my kids and their daddy,
my awesome family.
