Happy Valentine's Day!

Poor pitiful Kendall was in MUCH better shape today. She started off a little cautious and didn't eat too much, but we found some rice cakes that she really enjoyed and then even had some chicken later. Whew! Dodged a bullet! I was really worried that it could have been a stomach thing, but it seems like maybe it was a one-shot thing. We were cautious with what we offered her today and are relieved that she improved so quickly.

They all enjoyed a visit from Poo Pa this morning and he brought them sweet Valentine's Day cards and cute books from the Louis men (Poo Pa, Uncle Stevie and Uncle Albert). Later, we met up with Aunt Karen at the grocery store because we were trying to find food that was "safe" for Kendall. We also had another opportunity to see Auntie Karen because of Mommy's crazy online sale of some stuff they have outgrown. Ems is finally calling her Aunt Karen (sort of sounds like "Ann Kaween").

We had lots of fun singing songs, coloring pictures and playing with puzzles today and were relieved to get out of the house for a short time as well. Now it's time for Mommy and Daddy to enjoy some time watching the Olympics and then off to sleepy-time because we have a big day tomorrow with their 2-year check-ups in the morning. Have I mentioned before that I HATE taking them to the dr???? We love their pediatrician, but dread going voluntarily into a battlezone (sick germs, potential vaccinations and blood draws). Hopefully it will be a needle-free visit. :)
