Truckin' through Tuesday

We've survived another day of slightly runny noses, one raspy voice, a few rare coughs and a couple of mega-meltdowns.  The house didn't collapse and Daddy was even able to unload and reload the dishwasher!  The kids had lots of playtime outdoors in the backyard and some time in the garage as well.  It was Taco Night which turned out to be less positive than what Mommy and Daddy had planned.  Mega-meltdowns began at dinner (or the preparation to sit in seats for dinner) and continued for about 20 minutes uninterrupted.  Needless to say, our visions for taco night were much better than the actual event.  I'm sort of hoping that I can slide the tacos through again Wednesday or Thursday at dinner and maybe the kids will enjoy them.   Is that menu planning, or what?
Speaking of menu planning, I have grandiose images of potato and leek soup for tomorrow night (probably just for the adults, though the kids are certainly willing to try it out) but I also need to get a chicken in the crock pot.  Decisions.  Decisions.   Guess it is time to figure out the path of least resistance and go with it.
