We kept things relatively simple with hot dogs, burgers, chips & dip, baked beans, potato salad and dessert - yummy bunny cake from Grandpa, Nana's jello salad (made by Auntie Karen) and cheesecake and berries (made by Mommy). It was sort of a scramble to get loaded, head out there, unload and eat and then pack back up again, but totally worth it. It provided a much-needed change of scenery for the holiday with family and a big dose of sunshine.
I brought along bubbles, riding toys, bunny bowling, and a ball to keep them busy. They did really well at lunch and enjoyed some chips and bunny cake also with the grownups.
I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures until we were done eating, but we did try to get one "family shot" with Mommy, Daddy and the kids. Stephanie was kind enough to use my camera and make an attempt to get a picture with all of us together. The kids didn't really cooperate for long, but at least there is a picture with our Party of Five!
Happy Easter to everyone. What a gift!
