Zebras, Boogers and Birthday

Today was Mommy's Birthday! So....as a family we went the zoo along with Uncle Stevie this morning. We have a couple of kids with runny noses but upon judgment of mood and health this morning, we decided they were in good enough shape to go see some animals. One thing we kind of forgot was the Tennessee Valley Fair is in full swing and it's right next to the zoo. We parked very far away from our usual pretty good parking spot at the zoo and had to park with all the fair patrons. We rode a trolley driven by Santa (it was on his name tag) to the front gate of the zoo and embarked on another super weather afternoon of fun.The kids had bursts of energy at the zoo and then every once in a while would retire to the stroller for a quick recharge of energy.

Thanks to Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen who watched the kids for a few hours this evening while Mommy and I went for an adult Mexican dinner with no kids. Here are some photos of our day.

Everyone be sure to give the well wishes to our 28 year old Mommy. I hope she had as awesome of a day as you could when you are 28.- Daddy
