Another New Adventure

We took the kids on a new adventure today to the East Tennessee Discovery Center.  This is another museum that falls under our reciprocal membership that we got at the Children's Discovery Museum in Chattanooga.  We have really gotten our money's worth with the membership we purchased last summer.
The one here in Knoxville is not quite as fancy as the museum in Chattanooga (no disrespect), but it was a lot of fun and definitely something new for the kids.  They were going just a little stir-crazy (as were we), so it seemed that trying something new would be a good idea.  There is an area just for children 3-7 which offered all sorts of activities, including a train table, wooden blocks, legos, computers with games just for little ones and some other cool toys.
They also have a planetarium and have a show each day (I think), but we didn't make it until the show.  There is a super cool shuttle exhibit with lots of buttons to push and lights and sounds, so that was definitely a big hit.  It also provided a good hide-and-seek opportunity for Mommy and Clark which was really fun.  Daddy said that they have some nice fish there also and he was able to have a little one-on-one time with the kids exploring some other exhibits.
All in all, it was a good day.  We are ready for more adventures tomorrow.
