D.O.N.E.

It's Friday and I'm done.  It's been a long week.  Productive but long.  Uncle Stevie stopped in to say hello and the kids went a little crazy.  We are sort of getting into a pretty good  bedtime routine though it still has its bumps - crying, "no", missing dolls or stuffed animals, the wrong parent being with the wrong child.  And I think they are learning how to stall.  Kendall is a champion at coming up with every excuse to avoid the moment of being placed in bed.  And Clark just seems to say "no" to everything, though tonight he did sit still long enough to allow me to read three stories to him.  Emma has a "light on, light off" routine that is funny but becoming increasingly frustrating since it is usually well after 10p when this occurs.
We have an incredibly busy weekend planned next week (for their third birthday), but haven't really decided what to do this weekend.  They will obviously be looking for some sort of outing and we will need to get them to burn off some energy.  Hmmm.... What to do?  What to do?
